Rose, smiling softly in window light

with love, from Rose

A little book of us

Pour the tea, curl up beside me, and let’s flip through a few pages of my story together.

chapter one

The morning it changed

It started with a handful of hair in the sink — small, quiet, and impossible to ignore. I kept telling myself it would stop. It didn't.

For a while I hid it under hats and excuses. Then one Tuesday I looked in the mirror and decided I was tired of hiding from myself.

chapter two

Learning to be seen

Alopecia took my hair, not my face. The hardest part wasn't the mirror — it was explaining myself to people who loved me and didn't quite know what to say.

“I am not a brave story. I’m just Rose — having a hard week, and a good cup of tea.”

chapter three

A note for you

You don't have to fix anything or say the perfect thing. If you've read this far, you already matter to me more than you know.

So here are a few small ways to send a little love my way — pick whichever feels like you.

write me a letter

A handwritten note or a two-line text — both land the same.

just be normal

Invite me out like nothing changed. That's my favorite medicine.

share a quiet

Sit with me on a bad day. You don't have to fill the silence.
